Rule Changes for 2012 1. Penalty Administration for Yellow Card - when a card is issued, the player receiving the card must leave the field
for 2 minutes (previously 3 minutes). The team with the yellow card must play man down in both the offensive and defensive
areas. 2. There will be NO checking towards the body
at all. There will be NO checking anywhere near a player's head. This will result in an automatic Yellow Card regardless of whether or not the player was hit. 3. A player receiving two Yellow Cards will be removed from the remainder of the game but is allowed to play in the next game.
Other minor rule changes have been applied but these are the most significant. |
