Girls' lacrosse
Conestoga
defeated Penncrest, 18-5, Thursday. The Pioneers were led by Gettysburg-bound senior Taylor Lawlor (four goals, two assists),
junior Kelly Morrison (three goals, two assists), sophomore Meghan McGillis (three goals, one assist), sophomore Claire Jackson
(two goals, one assist), freshman Abby Lord (two goals), junior Britta Hjelm (two goals), senior captain Brooke McGillis (one
goal) and senior K.T. Mallory (one goal).
Goalies Sarah Priem and Emily Omrod combined for eight saves. The defense
was led by senior captain Taylor King (one caused turnover), junior Emily Pillion (James Madison) and Allison Henry (William
and Mary).
Conestoga coach Amy Orcutt said, "The girls came out today ready to play. They have been working really
hard in practice, and it was nice to see them take everything that we have been working on and apply it to a game situation."
