BUILD A KIT
If you would like to build a kit, please include all listed items. See FAQ under “Where to donate” for options to donate bulk items for Lacrosse Village to build kits.
Meal Kit– Build a Meal Kit with the items listed below to be donated to Great Valley Food Cupboard and St. Mary’s Episcopal Church. Items should be unopened and fit in a grocery sized paper bag. Kits should be complete upon delivery to limit contact.
- 1 box of cereal
- 1 container or box of instant oatmeal
- 1 jar of peanut butter
- 1 jar of strawberry or grape jelly
- 1 loaf of bread (white or whole wheat)
- 1 jar of regular marinara pasta sauce
- 1 box of spaghetti,
- 1 box of granola bars
- 1 pack of juice boxes
- 1 can of fruit (i.e. peaches, cocktail)
- 1 box of crackers or bag of pretzels
- Cleaning supplies where available (i.e. disinfectant wipes)
Hygiene Kit – Build a Hygiene Kit with the items listed below to be donated to those in need in the Philadelphia area. Kits should be fully assembled with unopened products upon donation (travel sized items are acceptable) and sealed in a gallon Ziplock-type bag. Kits should be complete upon delivery to limit contact
- Disposable razor
- Shaving cream
- Bar of soap
- Small bottle of shampoo
- Feminine hygiene products (optional)
- Feel welcome to include an uplifting note in the kit bag if you would like or we will make one for you! (No names)
Nurse Appreciation Kits – Build a Nurse Appreciation Kit with the items listed below to be donated to Paoli Hospital, Bryn Mawr Hospital and Einstein Medical Center. Kits should be fully assembled in a gallon Ziplock-type bag upon donation. Kits should be complete upon delivery to limit contact
- 1 drink (i.e. water bottle or Gatorade )
- 1 individual sized grocery sealed salty snack (i.e. pretzels, goldfish)
- 1 granola bar
- 1 individual sized grocery sealed sweet snack (i.e. fruit snack)
- 1 pack of gum or mints
- 1 NEW/unused bandana the healthcare worker to wear after a shift
- 1 chap stick, lip balm or travel sized hand lotion
- A thank-you note to show your appreciation to our healthcare workers. If you are not able to create a note we will create one for you!
Create functional masks for healthcare workers at Paoli Hospital, Bryn Mawr Hospital and Einstein Medical Center.
Masks should be fully prepared upon donation and should be donated in a sealed Ziplock-type bag to limit the amount of direct contact. Please see links below for instructions on how to create masks.
Where and When Can I drop off physical Donations?
Physical donations include Nurse Appreciation Kits, Food Kits, Masks and Hygiene Kits
For Paoli Hospital and Great Valley Food Cupboard donations drop-off location: Alex Aufiero – 1557 Salomon Lane, Chesterbrook, PA 19087
For Bryn Mawr Hospital and St. Mary’s Episcopal Church donations drop-off location: Shipley Girls Head Lacrosse Coach Shannon O’Neil – Address: 608 Valley View Road, Ardmore, PA 19003
For Einstein Medical Center donations drop-off location: Philadelphia location: 431 Van Kirk Street, Philadelphia, PA 19120
NEXT DONATION DROP-OFF DAY:
Sunday, May 31st – donations will be collected from 12pm – 2pm
Donations can be made at any time of the day. If you need to make alternative arrangements for drop offs, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Donations will be collected and will be distributed each week along with the kits and masks that our Lacrosse Village team creates.
WHAT IF I WOULD LIKE TO PURCHASE BULK ITEMS TO DONATE?
If you would like to purchase bulk items to fill Nurse
Appreciation, Meal or Hygiene Kits, please reach out to email@example.com. We are happy to create kits that can be
donated across our drop off sites, as long as we have ALL of the items needed
to make a kit. Items must represent the
items listed for each kit.
